Hi everybody. It’s Claudia founder of Hugo coffee roasters. So great to see everybody again. I have, I am here today to talk about some big news that is happening to me and who go coffee Roche’s, which I’m so excited about. And that is that I have been picked as one of 15 finalists in the Stacy’s rise project.

And Stacey’s is the Stacy’s pita chip. So it’s PepsiCo and Frito-Lay, and they, they, they have this opportunity, this grant opportunity, um, that I’ve been lucky enough to be chosen among with 14 other female founders of businesses. Very, very exciting. There were 1600 application, 15 people chosen and, and I was one of them.

So how awesome is that? So you think, okay, well, what’d you get plugged in yet? Here’s what I got in addition to $10,000 grant, which is so awesome and so well needed during these times I got with some of that I think is even more important and that is I have advertising assets. People are, uh, the, the Stacy’s rise, uh, project is giving all the winners, um, advertising space and media space, which is fantastic.

And for me, what really means a ton to me. Is mentorship. So I have one-on-one mentorship every week with two fabulous mentors who work in the Frito-Lay PepsiCo, uh, companies and their expertise completely fits with my needs. And those are for example, nationwide distribution access to Nate, like what does it mean to get nationwide distribution?

What do I have to do to get nationwide distribution? All of these things, because it’s super important to me as a brand that I get nationwide distribution, because as you probably know, we are a coffee roasting company whose mission is to save dogs by roasting and selling fantastic fair trade coffee.

And how are we going to have the biggest impact we’re going to have the biggest impact by me realizing the vision of my company, which is to be the go-to coffee for animal lovers nationwide. So I will need nationwide distribution to have that impact so that I can affect and impact animal rescue nationwide.

So super awesome that I get this opportunity for mentorship with these lovely women who are out. We’re just here to help me in the next six months, we meet once a week. Very, very excited about this. Very excited about every single thing about it, because Stacey’s rise project is, has come about because of a need identified.

For women founded businesses and the statistics show, which is so wild to me that 79% of people wish there were more female founded businesses in their communities and 41%. Of people say they would prefer to purchase from female founded businesses. But the problem is we don’t get our word out. We don’t get our word out that with female founders, we don’t get our word.

We don’t have the app. We don’t have the assets to do the advertising to have the impact that we want to have in the world, because we all want to impact everyone of these 15 finalists. Their goal is to impact the world in a positive way. So I am thrilled to pieces. It’s real to pieces too. I’ve been one of 15 people chosen and I mean, how awesome, like Stacy Stacy’s pita chips started as a, a sandwich card and she went from a sandwich card to Stacy’s pita chips, which we all know about.

We all buy them. We all love them. They’re everywhere, nationwide. And that is what I want for Hugo coffee roaster. And I want that because I’m going to say more and more dogs. So thank you to Stacy’s pita chips. Thank you to Stacey’s rise project. I am beyond thrilled to have been picked as one of the 15 finalists.

I cannot wait to use the grant money to get the word out about Hugo coffee. Roasters are fantastic. Products are fantastic mission and all the good things we are doing and are going to continue to do in this world.
