Partnership Programs

Utah Animal Advocacy Foundation, SLC, UT

The Utah Animal Advocacy Foundation (UAAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization specializing in the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of homeless animals. UAAF is an active participant in the No Kill Utah (NKUT) coalition and is working closely with other coalition members to help end the euthanasia of homeless pets. UAAF is an all-volunteer organization and rely entirely on public support for their continued success.

CAWS (Community Animal Welfare Society), SLC, UT

CAWS is a no-kill, volunteer, and foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is working with the community to help animals. As Utah’s oldest animal rescue group, their ongoing rescue, foster, education, and adoption programs help animals whose time is up at shelters, those who are abandoned, and as their resources allow, those whom their owners can no longer keep. CAWS is committed to saving the animals that are often overlooked and under-appreciated at local shelters; this includes, the sick, injured, senior and neonatal kittens and their mothers. CAWS is dedicated to helping those special needs animals to find their forever homes.

RSQ, St. George, UT

RSQ DOGS+ is a Utah nonprofit, all volunteer, animal rescue organization.  RSQ’s Mission is to be a voice for the voiceless; bettering the lives of the forgotten, abandoned, and abused animals in rural Utah, while inspiring the community to get involved. “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something.”

New York State Retriever Rescue, Bayport, NY

NYSRR is a small group of volunteers who are dedicated to finding homes for unwanted, neglected and abandoned labs and lab mixes. Their dogs come from many places – local owner surrenders who have had life changing events and can no longer care for their pets and pulls from local animal shelters. NYSSR also maintains a relationship with a rescue partner in Louisiana – who pulls dog from all sorts of situations.

Salt Lake City Animal Services, SLC, UT

The SLC Animal Services is the largest no-kill facility located in Utah. This organization advocates for domesticated animal protection and education for more humane care and treatment. SLC Animal Services provides full-time veterinary services for animals.

They also offer pet adoptions, respond to emergencies involving injured animals, investigate animal cruelty complaints, and provide a home to abandoned pets.

With a vision to end animal homelessness and euthanasia, Paws for Live’s mission is to rescue and find loving homes for shelter pets. Through community partnerships, education and adoption events they inspire community action and compassion.

First Ladies Farm, Florida

First Ladies grew out of the passion for rescuing cats and kittens, and now their family includes chickens, ducks, and peafowls (and it continues to grow). They are a safe haven for as long as it takes to find a forever home to the animals. First Ladies provide the animals with all the shelter, food, and love they need.

Do Over Dogs is a foster-based, 501(c)(3) organization that gives at-risk dogs from the shelter environment a second chance at life. Do Over Dogs focuses their rescue efforts on dogs and puppies that are at high risk of euthanasia.

SNARR saves the toughest dogs to place; those with serious medical conditions, paralyzed dogs, deaf and blind dogs, severely emaciated dogs, dogs with neurological deficits & disease, dogs with injuries and orthopedic issues … the animals that nobody else wants; the dogs that would otherwise be euthanized.

Sage Mountain is a 501(c3) non-profit organization that provides educational programming, advocacy, and a sanctuary for farmed animals. These animals include pigs, cows, chickens, goats, and sheep. Located 10 miles from Park City, Utah, Sage Mountain provides education about the farmed animals residing at our sanctuary coupled with advocacy and community outreach. They aim to inspire others to reduce, if not eliminate animal-based foods from their diets.
