Perfect Hugo Coffee Cocktails for Holiday Parties

It’s always nice to stop and smell the roses. But it’s November. So stop and smell the coffee instead!

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world, and for a good reason. It goes great with a number of other drinks and foods. You can drink it with milk, cream, sugar, and even molasses.

But there’s another way you can have your coffee. Combine it with alcohol, mix it with ice, and make yourself a refreshing cocktail!

Coffee and cocktails go hand-in-hand, especially with Hugo Coffee. Here are three recipes for some great Hugo Coffee Cocktails.

The Seasonal Hugo Coffee Cocktail: Pumpkin Cappuccino Martini

The Pumpkin Cappuccino Martini is perfect for fall parties. It combines pumpkin spice with cold brew and vodka. You can even serve this at a holiday brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces of vodka
  • 1.5 ounces of Dog Daze Cold Brew
  • 1 ounce of cream, half-and-half, or whole milk
  • .5 ounces of pumpkin spice mix
  • .5 ounces of Kahlua
  • Ice

You will need a standard cocktail shaker and a martini glass to serve.

Prepare your coffee in advance. You can use either a Dog Daze Cold Brew Pack or the Ground Cold Brew. Follow the instructions on the package, but we recommend steeping the coffee for 24 hours.

You can also use espresso. Make sure the espresso is chilled before using it.

Combine vodka, coffee, and cream with ice in your martini shaker. Mix your pumpkin spices and Kahlua. Then pour into the shaker.

Shake the ingredients thoroughly. You want your ice crystals to be small. Pour through a strainer and enjoy!

Hugo Coffee Cocktail: Elderflower Cold Brew Gin and Tonic

The Elderflower Cold Brew Gin and Tonic is a great drink for warm weather. But you can drink it in the fall and winter in front of a fireplace.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces of good-quality gin
  • 1 ounce of Dog Daze Cold Brew concentrate or 2 ounces of Dog Daze Cold Brew
  • .5 ounces of elderflower liqueur
  • Ice
  • Tonic, preferably Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water

You will need a highball glass and cocktail spoon. If you don’t have a highball glass, use a mason jar.

Prepare coffee in advance. For a lighter flavor, use 2 ounces of cold brew instead of concentrate.

Combine gin with coffee and liqueur in your glass. Add ice, then stir until all ingredients are combined. Top off with tonic and enjoy!

Almond Alpine Cocktail with Hugo Coffee Cold Brew

The Almond Alpine Cocktail is a refreshing cocktail for a cold winter day. Hugo Coffee Cold Brew adds a kick to balance the nuttiness of almond milk.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces of Dog Daze or New Trick Hugo Cold Brew
  • 1 ounce of Alpine Distilling Vodka
  • 1 ounce of Alpine Distilling Preserve Liqueur
  • 1 ounce of almond milk
  • 1 raw egg white (optional)
  • Ice

You will need a cocktail shaker and small tumbler. Combine all ingredients in the shaker and then shake until frothy. Strain, serve, and enjoy!
