What to Add to Your Cold Brew Coffee Drinks to Take Them to the Next Level

Do you love your cold brew? Are you looking to bring your cold brew game to the next level?

Well, good news. There are so many things you can try to spice up your cold brew coffee drinks.  Let’s go through a few of them!

1. Cinnamon, Spice, and Everything Nice

One simple way to make your cold brew unique is to mix a little bit of spice into the mix. For example, a tablespoon or two of cinnamon mixed in with your ground coffee before you start making it can transform the taste of your cold brew coffee drink recipe. You can also try more unusual spices, like lavender!

Before you start mixing up your cold brew recipe with spices, however, you should make sure you have the basics and measurements down pat.

2. Milky Milk

The milk you choose to mix into your drink can offer the taste and consistency of your drink, so it’s essential to choose carefully.

One type of milk you can try with your cold brew is almond milk or any of the other alternative nut milk. If you have a super sweet tooth, try sweetened condensed milk! Or, if you want to stay away from milk altogether, try coconut water for a delicious and hydrating treat.

3. Get in the Holiday Spirit

Do you want to enjoy the spirit of Christmas all year long? Why don’t you try your cold brew with just a touch of eggnog? That way, you can pretend it’s a chilly December even in the dead of summer.

Eggnog is a delicious way to make your cold brew more enjoyable, quickly, and easily. Or, if you’d like even more punch in your cold brew, you can add alcohol, like Bailey’s or Malibu, for even more fun.

4. Coffee Ice Cubes

If you’re looking for a way to change up your cold brew recipe, why not make ice cubes out of your cold brew? That way, your cold brew won’t be watered down when your ice cubes melt. And it’s really simple.

As long as you have an ice cube tray, you already have the equipment. If you don’t have one yet, you can even get novelty ice cube trays to make your cold brew even more festive.

5. Make It a Dessert

There’s one simple way you can take your cold brew to the truly most extreme level, and that’s to put ice cream in it. It may sound silly, but ice cream really does make everything better.

There are soy varieties if you happen to be lactose intolerant, and low-fat and low-calorie versions if you’re watching your weight. Seriously, just put ice cream in your cold brew! It’s great!

Cold Brew Coffee Drinks Are the Perfect Thing to Sip on This Summer

We all still need caffeine, but it just gets too warm in the summer for hot coffee. Any of the above cold brew coffee drinks can make your summer caffeine fix just as lovely as the rest of the year.
